A Lifetime of Creativity

Even in my younger years, I have been drawn to creative projects going back and forth with art and writing. Before college, my main mediums were painting and sketching, with my senior year introducing my to Adobe Photoshop. When I first entered college though, I was more focused on cultivating my writing skill so, I started out with minoring in Creative Writing. Then around my last and a half added Graphic Design as my second minor, as I was intrigued with the idea of going into advertising as a creator. I fell back in love with art and creating pieces, especially since I was broadening my mediums. Since then I enjoy combining both my creative writing and art education. Whether it'd be in painting pictures with words or using literary devices within pieces (mainly symbolism). This combination is best seen in my Master's Thesis Project where I use Greek Mythology as my inspiration. Even going so far as to further my medium knowledge through experimentation in sculpting and adding technology to my piece.
